Wednesday 13th May 12:45pm for 1pm start finish 4:30pm Golf Taster Day at Leeds Golf Centre Cost £38 members £40 Non members A fun introduction to the socialable game of golf. 2 hours tuition in small groups. Chipping, putting and longer iron shots on the driving range. The session ends with a fun challenge on the Oaks 3 par course. Then we will gather in the Red Kite Bar for refreshments. Please state dietary requirements when booking. Wear comfortable trousers, a stretchy top, windproof fleece or sweater. Please wear a comfortable pair of flat soled trainers to protect the greens. Thursday 21st May 10:30am Bradford Peace Museum Tour We have arranged a private tour of the Bradford Peace Museum based inside Salts Mill in Saltaire. The tour will last for approximately 1.5 hours. You will have plenty of time to go off and explore the rest of the mill, have lunch, explore the village, have a walk in Robert's Park and discover the Little Craft House at 101 Saltaire Road. Saturday 30th May Craft Dabble Day 10am - 3pm Flockton Community Centre, St. James' Church Flockton WF4 4DH Enjoy a day of crafting with members and friends. Helen and Kat will lead a session on shaving foam marbling, Sandra will show you the paper craft technique of tea bag folding and with Liz you will be able to make wire flowers from seed beads. Wednesday 24th June Tennant's Auctioneers Full Day Talk and Tour 11am to 4pm
Join us for a wonderful day! Travelling via your own transport and Meeting at Tennant's Autioneers Leyburn DL8 5SG for an 11am start. This event includes a welcome drink and biscuits, a delicious two course hot lunch, a behind the scenes guided tour and discussion of items in upcomng antiques and interiors sale, tour current exhibitions, visit gift shop plus a hot drink with sweet treat before wendig your way home via your own transport. Cost £39 WI members £41 non members Closing Date 8th June 2026

Glyn Jones from St. John's Ambulance will lead the morning session which will support the WI campaign Bystanders Can Be Lifesavers. Join us to learn the critical step by step actions to take if someone suddenly collapses in front of you.
The afternoon session will be led by Traffic Officers from National Highways who will give us some guidance/safety advice on what to do in various situations.
Refreshments available on arrival and during the lunch break. Please bring a packed lunch.
Car Park at hall. and the no.64 bus is a half hourly service from Leeds
