West Yorkshire News (WYN)

West Yorkshire News is YOUR newsletter, bringing all the information from the Board of Trustees, Sub-Committees and Office to members across the Federation.

The WYN is one of the main communication tools used to send messages and notices to every WI in the Federation and we do hope that members read it and find it useful.

WYN is published each month except August and often includes extra sections and inserts, such as booking forms, NFWI information and Annual Meeting details. The newsletter also gives full information on forthcoming workshops, trips and holidays, as well as the latest on WI campaigns, news from Denman and more. Take a look at an example of WYN here.

As this is your newsletter, we encourage WIs and members to send in their news or event information.  WYN is available as a paper copy and as an eWYN whereby members receive a digital copy via email through their WI. Around 700 paper copies and over 2400 eWYNs are circulated each month, including a free copy for WI Secretaries. WYN is also distributed to neighbouring Federations, the NFWI and Denman College as well as advertisers.

Commercial advertisements are accepted with discounted rates available for WIs and members and also for long-term adverts.  Leaflet distribution with WYN is available from £55 for 100 copies. Why not keep in touch with a subscription?

Members can subscribe to WYN through their WI or have a Private Subscription where WYN will be delivered individually to your home each month. Please see your WI Secretary for details.
