About Us

Buns & Roses WI formed in 2009 with the aim of bringing women together to craft, natter and enjoy a cocktail or two! Since then our group has grown and in 2011 we won an award for our increase in membership and we are still growing.

We meet on the third Thursday of the month at The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Leeds city centre. Our meetings vary from inspiring guest speakers to crafty get-togethers with the odd cake and cocktail thrown in for good measure.

On the first Thursday we hold a workshop. Our workshops have a limited number of spaces and are always booked in advance via email, with Buns & Roses members receiving priority booking (just one of the many reasons to join us).

As if that wasn't enough, Buns & Roses also have a Public Affairs committee, host social events, take part in local craft fairs and hold a book club.
